The Challenge
Efficient Training Despite Limited Resources
Every minute counts when treating a stroke making life-saving training for doctors essential. As a pharmaceutical company with a focus on patient care, Pfizer recognizes the importance of hands-on training for stroke patients and is committed to VR technology. Thus, realistic training measures are implemented, even in clinics with limited resources for practical exercises.
Our Solution: VR In The Stroke Unit Starter Course
Pfizer, together with us and Professor Dr Sobesky (Neuss) and Professor Dr Pfeilschifter (Lüneburg), developed a stroke VR simulation training, building an innovative training experience for medical professionals thanks to Virtual Reality training.
VR Training In Further Medical Education
Participants wear VR glasses and experience themselves virtually either in the emergency department's ICU or in the CT examination room to complement the neurologist's training. Using controllers, they perform interactive activities and view the entire team, including their own and other avatars. VR training allows doctors to practice and optimize procedures under realistic conditions. Further steps are planned so that doctors can also practice in the clinics.
